A US LLC and Stripe: what to prepare

EIN, bank account, company and representative details: what is usually requested to get paid with an LLC.

Updated November 4, 2026

Why an LLC to get paid?

Many non-resident entrepreneurs form an LLC to access US payment solutions and invoice in dollars. Each payment provider, however, applies its own eligibility rules.

What is usually requested

Payment providers verify the company and the people behind it. You generally need:

  • The LLC's legal name and address
  • The company's EIN
  • A bank account in the company's name
  • Identity details of the representative and beneficial owners
  • A clear business description and a website

Consistency first

The company name, EIN, address and business must match everywhere: formation documents, EIN letter, bank and payment account. Most blocks come from an inconsistency.

What we don't promise

ClicGlow prepares your company and documents, but opening a payment account is solely up to the provider. Always check its current terms.
